1. This revision is directed against the judgment/ order dated 14.07.2020, passed by the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Simdega, in Criminal Appeal (Juvenile) No.21 of 2020, rejecting the prayer for bail of the petitioner (juvenile in conflict with law) in connection with Kolebira P.S. Case No.06 of 2020, corresponding to G.R. No.138 of 2020, registered under Section 376 (D)(A) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 & 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special P.P. The allegation is that the petitioner along with co-accused had committed rape on the victim, who is aged about 10 years.

In view of the materials on record and heinousness of the crime the release of the petitioner, at this stage, would defeat the ends of justice. The petitioner needs proper counselling.

3. The trial court/ Board is directed to expedite and conclude the enquiry, at the earliest, preferably by November, 2021, failing which the petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

4. With the aforesaid direction, the revision is, hereby, dismissed.
