6/09.02.2021 On repeated calls, nobody appears on behalf of the petitioners.
This writ petition has been heard through Video Conferencing in
view of the guidelines of the High Court taking into account the situation
arising due to COVID-19 pandemic. None of the parties have complained
about any technical snag of audio-video and with their consent this
matter has been heard.
The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent
no.6[JEPC] submits that the subject matter of the writ petition is being
examined by the Division Bench in WPS No.315 of 2016. He submits that
the judgment delivered by the Division Bench in WPS No.315 of 2016 will
also govern the fate of this writ petition.
In view of such submission, the matter is adjourned sine die.
The parties are at liberty to mention this matter after disposal of
WPS No.315 of 2016.
