Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed this petition

in the nature of habeas corpus seeking production of his daughter.

2. Petitioner Smt. Kaushalya Devi and her husband are present in

the Court.

3. This Court on 12.11.2024, issued notice to respondents No.2, 3,

4 only and directed them to file status report and today they have filed

the status report, which goes to indicate that the corpus has in fact

solemnized marriage with respondent No.5 and both the parties have

executed affidavits to this effect. The record further reveals that the

corpus is major.

4. Once that being so and in terms of judgment rendered by the

Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lata Singh Vs. State of U.P & Another

(2006) 5 SCC 475, she is free to reside with whom and wherever she

likes.

In view of this, the present petition is disposed of.
