Generals, for the respondent-State.

While placing on record communication dated

27.10.2023, issued under the signature of Executive Engineer,

NH Division HPPWD, Joginder Nagar, District Mandi,

Himachal Pradesh, Mr. B.C.Verma, learned Additional

Advocate General states that matter with regard to interest on

DCRG raised by the petitioner was taken with the competent

authority, which has now accorded sanction for the payment

of interest on DCRG vide communication dated 27.10.2023.

Aforesaid communication is taken on record, perusal whereof

clearly reveals that bill for the payment of interest on DCRG

shall be prepared within a period of two days and thereafter

same shall be credited in the account of the petitioner within

one week positively.

In view of the aforesaid compliance, nothing

remains to be adjudicated in the present proceedings and

accordingly same are closed with a direction to Executive

Engineer, NH Division HPPWD, Joginder Nagar, District

Mandi, Himachal Pradesh to ensure that interest on DCRG in

terms of sanction received by his office vide letter dated

27.10.2023, be released within a period of one week, failing

which, petitioner would be at liberty to get the present

proceedings revived, so that appropriate action, in accordance

with law, is taken towards implementation/execution of the

judgment sought to be executed.
