Learned counsel for the respondent-Municipal

Council, Chamba, District Chamba, Himachal Pradesh has

placed on record office order dated 2.11.2023, passed by

Executive Officer, Municipal Council, Chamba, whereby

petitioners have been granted work charge status w.e.f. due

date, subject to outcome of SLP pending in the Hon'ble

Supreme Court.

In view of the above, petitions are closed with a

direction to the respondents to ensure payment of

consequential benefits in terms of the judgment/direction

passed by this Court on or before 31st March 2024. Needless

to say, for redressal of grievance, if still survives, petitioners

shall have right to avail appropriate remedy.
