By way of these writ petitions, the petitioners, who are

working as Piece Meal Workers with the respondent-Corporation,

have approached this Court, seeking a direction to the respondents

to convert their services on contract basis. In this regard, the

petitioners have already made representations, which are still

pending before the authorities concerned.

3. In view of the nature of the case and prayer made

therein, no response is required from the respondents.

4. Considering the averments and prayer made in these writ

petitions, with the consent of learned counsel for both the parties,

these writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the

respondents/competent authority to decide the representation(s) of

the petitioners, in accordance with law, within a period of one

month from today. While deciding the petitioners' representation(s),

the respondents/competent authority shall also take into

consideration the judgment delivered by learned Single Judge of
