1. By this application, the applicant has prayed for early hearing of the captioned writ petition being Special Civil Application No.2141 of 2017 on the ground that the applicant is aged 94 years; further, the issue involved in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the judgments rendered by various High Courts and confirmed by the Hon'ble Apex Court.

2. Having regard to the averments made in the application so also the oral submissions made by the learned advocate for the applicant, this Court, is of the opinion that urgency has been made out for early hearing of the captioned writ petition and the present civil application deserves to be allowed.

3. Accordingly, civil application stands allowed. Registry is directed to list the main matter being Special Civil Application No.2141 of 2017 for hearing on 22.3.2021.

4. The civil application is disposed of. No order as to cost.
