For the reasons recorded in the judgment, pronounced today, following order is passed by the Hon'ble Court:
"The appeal is partly allowed. The judgment and order dated 13.05.2014 passed by the learned 2nd Additional Sessions Judge, Veraval in Sessions Case No.24 of 2010, convicting and sentencing appellants no.1- Girish Megha Parmar Dalit for life imprisonment, is modified and altered from Section 302 of the IPC to Section 304-I of the IPC, and convicting and sentencing appellant no.2- Rahul @ Lalo Jina Parmar, for life imprisonment, is modified and altered from Section 302 of the IPC to Section 325 of the IPC. The period of sentence already undergone by both the appellants- convicts shall be considered for remission and set off. The appellants be released forthwith, if not required in any other case. Rest of sentence is upheld."
