Heard the learned counsel for the applicant.

This interlocutory application has been filed for suspension of sentence and bail with regard to impugned judgment and order dated 11/01/2023 passed by the learned Special Judge, POCSO, Dhubri, in Special Case No. 69 of 2017.

The applicant has been sentenced to a substantive sentence of 7(seven) years rigorous imprisonment.

The learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 2 submits that he would file a written objection against the prayer for suspension of sentence.

The learned Addl. P.P. also seeks some time to go through the file.

Both the prayers are allowed.

It is submitted that copies may be furnished to the other side. The petitioner side shall do the needful.

List this matter again on 28.05.2026.
