Heard Ms. P. Borthakur, learned counsel for the applicant. The present application has been filed praying for refund of the statutory amount of Rs. 25,000/- which was deposited during filing of the MAC Appeal no. 136/2023.

It is stated that the said MAC Appeal no. 136/2023 has already been disposed of by this Court by a Judgment and Order dated 29.08.2025. However, no order has been passed for refund of the statutory deposit. Hence, the present application.

Having considered the prayer of the applicant, the interlocutory application stands allowed.

The Registry is directed to release the statutory amount of Rs. 25,000/- which was deposited during filing of MAC Appeal no. 136/2023 along with the accrued interest to the New India Assurance Company Limited.
