1. Heard Mr.P.J.Barman, learned counsel for the applicant.

2. The present application has been filed praying for stay of operation of the impugned judgment and award dated 20.08.2025 passed by the learned Member, MACT, Bongaigaon in MAC Case No. 26/2022.

3. It is stated by the learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant has already filed an appeal against the impugned judgment and award dated 20.08.2025 passed by the learned Member, MACT, Bongaigaon in MAC Case No. 26/2022 and it is also stated that the appellant/applicant has taken good ground for filing the appeal and there Page No.# 3/3

is every chance to succeed the appeal.

4. In view of the above, the impugned judgment and award dated 20.08.2025, as noted above, is stayed, pending disposal of the connected appeal, subject to the condition that the applicant shall deposit 50% of the awarded amount before the Registry within a period of 6 (six) weeks from today.

5. Accordingly, this interlocutory application stands disposed of.
