Heard Mr. K. K. Bhatta, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant. Also heard Mr. A. R. Agarwala, learned counsel for the respondents No. 1, 2 & 3.

This is an appeal filed under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicle Act, 1988, challenging the judgment & award, dated 18.10.2024, passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Goalpara, in MAC Case No. 197/2020.

The appeal is admitted for hearing.

Call for the relevant trial Court records.

Issue notice, returnable within 4 weeks.

Since Mr. Agarwala, learned counsel, has appeared and accepted notice on behalf of respondents No. 1, 2 & 3, no formal notice need be issued to the said respondents. However, requisite extra copies of the memo of appeal be furnished to him.

Appellant shall take fresh steps upon the respondent No. 4 by registered post with A/D as well as by usual process within a week from today.
