1. Heard Mr. A. Baruah, learned counsel for the appellant.

2. This appeal has been filed under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Page No.# 2/2

Act, 1988 by the appellant/claimant for enhancement of the compensation awarded to the appellant by the impugned Judgment and Award dated 07.11.2017, passed by the learned Member, MACT, Morigaon in MAC(D) Case No. 64/2014.

3. The appeal is admitted.

4. Issue notice to the respondent No. 1.

5. The learned counsel for the appellant shall take steps for issuance of notice on the respondent by registered post with A/D as well as through usual mode.

6. The learned counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant may be allowed to serve notice on the engaged counsel for the respondent No. 1.

7. Same is allowed.

8. Let the case record of MAC (D) Case No. 64/2014 be called for from the concerned Tribunal.

9. Let this matter be listed after 4(four) weeks, on receipt of the records from the concerned Tribunal.

10. List accordingly.
