1. Heard Mr. T. Kalita, learned counsel for the appellant/insurance company.
2. This appeal has been preferred under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 challenging the quantum of the compensation awarded to the respondents/claimants by the Judgment and Order dated 12.03.2024, passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal Lakhimpur, North Lakhimpur in MAC (Death) Case No. 20/2021.
3. This appeal is admitted.
4. Issue notice to the respondents.
5. Call for the case record of MAC (Death) Case No. 20/2021 from the concerned Tribunal.
6. The appellant shall take steps for issuance of notice to the respondents by registered post with A/D as well as through usual process, within 7(seven) days from the date of this order, returnable after 4(four)weeks.
