Heard Mr. B. Sinha, learned counsel for the applicants and Ms. A. Begum, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the opposite party.

2. In this application, under Section 389 of the Cr.P.C., the applicants have prayed for suspension of sentence and enlarged them on bail.

3. It is to be noted here that vide judgment and order dated 12.10.2023, the learned Sessions Judge, Karimganj in Sessions Case No. 119/2017, has convicted the applicants under Sections 498[A]/313/511/328/34 of the IPC and sentenced them to suffer R.I. for 1 year with a fine of Rs. 1,000/- each with default stipulation under Sections 498[A]/34 of the IPC and also sentenced them to undergo R.I. for 4 years with a fine of Rs. 5,000/- each with default stipulation under Sections 313/511/34 of the IPC and further sentenced them to undergo R.I. for 4 years with a fine of Rs. 5,000/- each with default stipulation under Sections 328/34 of the IPC.

4. It is also to be noted here that as the connected Criminal Appeal has already been admitted and the record has already been called for from the learned court below, the interim prayer of the applicants will be considered after perusing the record received from the learned court below.

5. List the matter after 4 [four] weeks.
