Heard Mr. U. Choudhury, learned counsel for the appellant, who submits that the appellant has been convicted under Section 6 of the POCSO Act read with Section 342 IPC, vide Judgment dated 31.03.2023 passed by the Court of the Special Judge (POCSO), Kokrajhar in Special Case No. 3/2021.

Ms. S. Jahan, learned Addl. PP appears on behalf of the State.

The Registry shall give a scanned copy of the appeal and the I.A to the learned Addl. PP, who shall thereafter forward the same to the OC of Gossaigaon Police Station, as the case pertains to Gossaigaon P.S. Case No. 425 Page No.# 3/3

dated 27.09.2019, who shall serve the same upon the respondent No. 2 (father of the victim). A report of service should thereafter be made by the OC concerned.

List the matter after 4 (four) weeks.
