This appeal under section 374 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is filed assailing the judgment and order dated 28.10.2021 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong in Sessions Case No.14/2019, convicting the accused to undergo Rigorous imprisonment for 10 (ten) years for the offence punishable under section 307 IPC with a fine of Rs.5,000/- in default to payment of fine to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 6 months.

Accordingly the appeal is admitted for hearing. The lower court record as called for is already received. List the matter for hearing in its usual course.
