Heard Mr. M. Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner. Ms. M. Barman, learned Junior Government Advocate, Assam appears for respondent no.1 and Mr. H.K. Das, learned Standing Counsel, Gauhati High Court appears for respondent no. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that he has been suspended based on some allegations made in two anonymous complaints.

It is submitted by Mr. Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner, that the Office Memorandum dated 08.10.2018 of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India [Annexure-E] has provided the manner in which an anonymous complaint is to be dealt with. He has further relied on a judgment and order dated 10.09.2021 passed in a writ petition, WP(C) 2877/2021 [Annexure G].

Mr. Das submits that there is a set of guidelines issued by this High Court also as regards the manner in which a complaint including an anonymous complaint is to be dealt with. He has sought for listing of the case on 15.05.2023 to enable him to obtain and produce a copy of the said guidelines. In view of above, list the case on 15.05.2023.
