Date : 03.04. 2023 Heard Mr. A.J. Saikia, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. M. Talukdar, learned counsel for the respondent/ claimant Nos. 1 to 9.
This is an appeal under filed under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 against the judgment and award dated 19.03.2016, passed by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Cachar, Silchar in MAC Case No. 1175 of 2012.

The appeal is admitted.
Issue notice to the respondents.
The appellant shall take steps for service of notice upon the respondents by registered post with A/D as well as by usual process, returnable within 6 weeks.
Steps be taken within 7 days.
No formal notice need be served to the respondent Nos. 1 to 9 as Mr. M. Talukdar, learned counsel has entered appearance and accepted notice on their behalf.
However, extra copy of the memo of appeal be furnished to the learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 to 9 during the course of the day.
