By way of this petition under Section 397, read with Section 401 of the CrPC, the petitioner challenges the judgment and order dated 25.07.2018, passed by the learned CJM, Karimgang, in G.R. Case No.909/2007, convicting the accused/petitioner under Section 324/34 of the IPC, Page No.# 2/2

to undergo R.I. for 3 years and to pay a fine of Rs.10,000/-, in default to undergo further R.I. for thirty days, which was upheld by the learned Sessions Judge, Karimganj, in Criminal Appeal No.39/2018, vide order dated 02.02.2022.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned P.P., Assam, appearing for the State respondent and perused the record.

The revision is admitted for hearing.

As the State respondent has already entered appearance through the learned Addl. P.P., Assam, notice need not be issued but necessary extra copy of the petition be furnished.
