Heard Ms. B Chowdhury, learned Legal Aid counsel for the petitioner and also heard Mr. P Borthakur, learned Addl. PP, State of Assam.

In this Criminal Revision Petition, the petitioner Alarush Lakra Page No.# 2/2

@ Lajaruch, has put to challenge the judgment and order dated 17.06.2022, passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Golaghat in Sessions Case No.170/2013 under section 324 IPC.

It is to be noted herein that vide the impugned judgment and order dated 17.06.2022, the learned Court below has convicted the petitioner under Section 324 IPC and sentenced him to suffer rigorous imprisonment for three years and also to pay a fine of Rs.5,000/- with default stipulation.

It appears from the petitioner that the petitioner has not impleaded the informant/victim as party respondent.

In view of the above, it is provided that the petitioner shall implead the informant/victim as respondent No.2 and thereafter take steps by Registered Post with A/D as well as through usual process within 7 (seven) days from today.

Since Mr. P Borthakur, learned Addl. PP entered appearance and accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.1, no formal notice need to be issued, however requisite extra copies of the petition be furnished to learned Addl. PP during the course of the day.
