                                         ORDER

13.08.2022 This is an appeal filed by the claimant against the judgment and award dated 08.01.2014 passed by the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Dhubri in MAC Case No.666/2006 Page No.# 2/2

praying for enhancement of the award as compensation, for the death in a motor vehicular accident.

The New India Assurance Company Limited (for short Insurance Company) is represented by Shri SK Hansi, Regional Manager. The claimants are represented by Shri AR Agarwala, the learned counsel.

The parties present before this Court jointly submit that the matter has been settled outside the Court by paying an additional amount of Rs.65,000/- (Rupees Sixty Five Thousand) as full and final settlement has been agreed upon over and above the awarded amount.

In view of the above, the appeal stands closed with a direction that the Insurance Company shall now deposit the additional amount of Rs.65,000/- (Rupees Sixty Five Thousand) being the full and final settlement before the Registry of this Court within a period of 45 days from today. The said amount would be released to the claimant on being properly identified by the learned counsel for the claimant. In this regard, the application filed by the claimant is made part of the records.

A memo of settlement is made a part of the record.

The MAC Appeal stands disposed of.
