Heard Ms. M Borah, learned counsel for the petitioner, who is aggrieved by non- payment of the post retirement benefits.

It is the case of the petitioner that he was regularized and has served about 23 years in the Department and his case is covered by a decision of this Court rendered in the case of Sanjita Roy Vs. State of Assam & Ors., reported in 2019 (2) GLT 805.

Ms. R Barua, learned counsel appearing for the PWD submits that the proposal for payment of post retirement benefits in the line of the aforesaid judgment has already been sent to the office of the Accountant General, Assam, which is under consideration.

The same submission is also made by Ms. S Baruah, learned State Counsel, Assam.

In view of the above, Registry to list this case immediately after the vacation, on which

date, the stand / response of the Accountant General, Assam may be intimated to this Court.
