Heard Mrs. P. Barman, learned counsel for the applicant.

By filing this I.A., a prayer has been made to suspend the operation of

the judgment dated 21.09.2021 and decree dated 22.09.2021 passed by the

learned Principal Judge, Family Court-II, Kamrup(M), Guwahati in connection

with F.C.(Civil) Case No.801/2014, granting a decree of divorce dissolving the

marriage between the parties.

Mrs. Barman submits that if the interim relief as prayed for is not granted

at this stage, then the appeal itself would become infructuous.

We have perused the statements made in the I.A. and have also considered

the submission made by learned counsel for the applicant.

Issue notice upon the respondent returnable on 05.01.2022.

Applicant to take steps for service of notice upon the respondent by registered

post with A/D as well as by usual process within three days from today.

Heard on the prayer of interim relief.

As an ad-interim measure, it is hereby provided that operation of the impugned

judgment 21.09.2021 and decree dated 22.09.2021 shall remain suspended till

the returnable date.

List again on 05.01.2022.
