This is an application seeking leave to prefer the connected criminal appeal against the judgment and order, dated 26.11.2019, passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jorhat in CR(NI) Case No. 194/2009.

Heard Mr. P Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. SN Tamuli, learned Page No.# 2/2

counsel for the sole respondent.

On perusal of the materials filed with the application, including the impugned judgment available in the connected criminal appeal, this Court is of the view that there are legal issues of serious implications, involved in this case, and therefore, leave is granted to prefer the connected appeal.

The Registry shall register the connected criminal appeal and list the same for necessary orders before this Court.

Interlocutory application stands disposed of accordingly.
