Heard Mr. A.J. Saikia, learned counsel for the applicant-appellant and Mr. A. Bhattacharyya, learned counsel for the opposite party-respondent nos. 1 & 2.

It is submitted by Mr. Saikia that the applicant-appellant has deposited an amount of Rs. 7,66,699/- in terms of the order dated 08.01.2020 before the Registry of this Court.

Having regard to the grounds taken in the connected appeal by the applicant-appellant and the deposit made in deference to the order dated 08.01.2020, it is ordered that the operation of the judgment and award dated 06.09.2021 passed by the learned Motor Accident Claims Tribunal No. 2, Kamrup (M), Guwahati in MAC Case no. 510/2016 shall remain stayed till the disposal of the appeal.

The interlocutory application stands disposed of.
