                                              J U D G M E N T (oral)

1. It is a case of inter-religion love marriage.

2. Both the petitioners have married each other on 07.12.2025 as per Hindu customs and rituals.

3. They both, however, apprehend some threats from their respective family members who, as stated, are against the abovesaid marriage.

4. They, therefore, seek protection so that they are not harmed and their life and liberty is not compromised in any manner whatsoever. They both are, presently, residing at Karawal Nagar, North East Delhi, which falls within the jurisdiction of P.S. Dayal Pur.

5. SI Ravi Poonia from said Police Station is present in Court.

6. Learned Standing Counsel (Crl.) for the State states that petitioners have already been provided with mobile number of the concerned SHO, SI Ravi Punia and mobile number of the Beat Officer and they are at liberty to immediately contact any one of them in case they apprehend any threat to their life and liberty. It is also undertaken that Beat Officer would keep a vigil and visit their premises, twice a week.

7. His such assurance is taken on record.

8. In view of the abovesaid arrangement and assurance, learned counsel for the petitioners prays for no further relief, at the moment.

9. The petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms.
