                            J U D G M E N T (ORAL)

1. Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of FIR

No.779/2015 dated 14.10.2015 registered at Police Station Dwarka South

and consequent proceedings arising therefrom.

2. Notice issued.

3. Notice is accepted by learned APP for the State and respondent no.2

and with the consent of the parties, the present petition is taken up for final

disposal.

4. The petitioners and respondent no.2 were known to each other as they

all are residing in Shri Agrasen CGHS Apartment in Dwarka South. A

quarrel on a trivial issue led to registration of the aforementioned FIR.

5. The petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled all their disputes

amicably before the Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, Delhi on 28.03.2019

and it is therefore, prayed that the criminal proceedings against the

petitioners may be quashed.

6. The complainant/ respondent no.2 has been identified by SI Hari

Singh of Police Station Dwarka South and he admits the factum of

settlement arrived at with the petitioners and further submits that he does not

wish to prosecute the matter any further.

7. Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash

the FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting the petitioners

any further.

8. For the reasons afore-recorded, the No.779/2015 dated 14.10.2015

registered at Police Station Dwarka South and consequent proceedings

arising therefrom are quashed.

9. The petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
