       CORAM:
       HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SUNIL GAUR

                          ORDER

(ORAL)

1. The grievance of petitioners is that despite seeking demarcation of the subject land from the concerned Tehsildar by way of an application of 16th August, 2018 (Annexure P-10 colly), the boundary wall of the subject land has been demolished under the orders of the second respondent on 28th August, 2018. To highlight the extent of demolition, learned counsel for petitioners had drawn attention of this Court to some photographs (Annexure P-12 colly). Learned counsel for petitioners submits that there is no response to the application of 16th August, 2018 (Annexure P-10 colly). However, no grievance has been made by petitioners to the second respondent or to the competent authority against the so called demolition.

2. Despite service of advance notice, there is no representation on behalf of respondents.

3. In the facts and circumstances of this case, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of this petition and application with direction to second respondent to ensure that petitioners' application of 16th August, 2018 (Annexure P-10 colly) made to the concerned Tehsildar is effectively dealt with, within a period of four weeks and its fate be made known to petitioners within two weeks thereafter, so that they may avail of the remedies, as available in law, if need be.

4. Second respondent be apprised of this order forthwith to ensure its compliance.

5. With aforesaid directions, this petition and applications are disposed of.

A copy of this order be given dasti under the signatures of Court Master to counsel for petitioners.
