CORAM:
HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE C.HARI SHANKAR
JUDGMENT (ORAL)
GITA MITTAL, ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE
1. This writ petition seeks the following prayers :
"a)Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus upon the respondents concern not to modify and/or rescinded the tender without due process of law.
b) A writ in the nature of certiorari commanding the respondents concerned to transmit all relevant record before this Hon'ble Court at once.
c) Rule nisi in terms of prayer as above."
2. The grievance made in the writ petition relates to the working of tenders by the National Disaster Management Authority. The writ petitioner is not concerned with any specific tenders and general allegations have been made therein.
3. In our view, it is the person concerned with the rejection of a tender who would have a right to agitate against such action of the respondents. This writ petition claiming to have been filed in public interest is not maintainable. In any case, the prayers as extracted above are hopelessly misconceived.
4. We find no merit in this writ petition which is hereby dismissed.
