1. The petitioner, by the present writ petition, inter alia, seeks early disposal of the appeal filed by the petitioner, which is stated to be pending since 27th January, 2016.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the appeal has not yet been listed despite the fact that the same was filed as far back
W.P.(C) 3894/2017 Page 1 as on 27th January, 2016. He submits that as per his enquiry, there are no office objections in the listing of the appeal.
3. Though the petitioner has prayed for other reliefs, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions are issued for the early disposal of the appeal, he would be satisfied.
4. In view of the above, the Central Information Commission ('CIC') is requested to expedite the hearing to the appeal of the petitioner.
5. The Registrar of the CIC is directed to list the appeal of the petitioner before the CIC, if the same is in order.
6. The present writ petition is accordingly disposed of, without prejudice to the other reliefs claimed by the petitioner in the petition.
7. Order Dasti under signature of the Court Master.
