The Insurance Company is aggrieved by the impugned award in
so far as it awards ` 25,000/- towards funeral charges and ` 1 lac
towards loss of 'love and affection'. The deceased was an unmarried
girl aged about 20 years. The claimants are her parents. It is
submitted by learned counsel for the appellant that the sum of
` 25,000/- towards funeral charges and ` 1 lac towards loss of 'love and
affection' are on the higher side. I do not think so. In any case,
keeping in view the fact that only a sum of ` 1,25,000/- is involved, I do
not wish to interfere in the impugned award.
The appeal is dismissed.
