JUDGMENT

Madan B. Lokur, J.

1. The Respondents in this case are working as Road Paver Drivers. The benefit of SSC pay scales has been given to Drivers and there is no reason why the particular category of Road Paver Drivers should be excluded.

2. Under the circumstances, it is held that all Road Paver Drivers are entitled to the benefit of SSC pay scales with effect from 1st April, 1998.

3. The Respondents will be entitled to costs of Rs. 1,000/- each.
