JUDGMENT

Madan B. Lokur, J.

1. The Respondents in this case are working as Carpenters. The benefit of SSC pay scales has already been given to Carpenters and, therefore, there is no reason to deny the Respondents the benefit of SSC pay scales. Under the circumstances, it is held that all Carpenters are entitled to the benefit of SSC pay scales with effect from 1st April,1998.

2. The Respondents will be entitled to costs of Rs.1,000/- each.
