1. This appeal is directed against the impugned judgment dated

06.12.2008 passed by the Special Judge (Electricity Act, 2003)

Raigarh (C.G.) in Special Case No. 132/2007, whereby, the

appellant has been convicted under Section 135 of the Electricity

Act, 2003 and sentenced to undergo R.I. for one year with fine

amount of Rs. 25,000/- and in default of payment of fine, further

undergo R.I. for 3 months and under Section 154(5) of Electricity

Act, 2003 for fine amount of Rs. 25,000/-.

2. During the pendency of this appeal, the parties have arrived at

compromise before the National Lok Adalat today i.e. 08.03.2025.

3. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties as per the

compromise, the appellant is hereby acquitted.

4. With the above observation and direction, the criminal appeal

stands disposed of.

5. Copy of this award should be provided free of cost to the parties

immediately.

6. The docket duly signed by the parties is taken on record.
