Heard.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that
the petitioner is in detention since last more than 19 years.
He would submit that the Criminal Appeal preferred by the
petitioner against the judgment of conviction and order of
sentence passed by the learned trial Court has already
been dismissed by this Court in CRA No.124/2010 by
judgment dated 23/09/2015. He would submit that the
petitioner moved an application before the State
Government for remission which has been rejected on the
ground that the offence under Section 376 IPC is not
covered under the provision of Rule 358 of the C.G. Jail
Manual, 1968.
Learned counsel appearing for the State would pray
for time to seek instructions in the matter.
As prayed list the case after two weeks.
