Chattisgarh High Court
Ram Naresh Tandon vs State Of Chhattisgarh on 2 August, 2021
           HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR
                                  Order Sheet
                            WPCR No. 402 of 2021
Ram Naresh Tandon Versus State Of Chhattisgarh

2-8-2021 Mr. T.K. Tiwari, counsel for the petitioner.
Mr. Sudeep Verma, Dy. Govt. Advocate for the State.
Heard on I.A.No.1 of 2001, which is an application for
           grant of interim relief.
The petitioner has filed the application for grant of
interim relief in which he has prayed the following reliefs:
"10.1 that this Honorable Court may
kindly be pleased to issue a writ of
mandamus as to quash the FIR bearing
                       No. 08/2020 registered at EPW/ACB,
Raipur by respondent No.3 and the

proceedings/investigations held prior to and after registration of the FIR and

10.2. Commanding respondent No.1 to initiate action against respondent No.3 for misusing his power contrary top the provisions of the PCA".

When the learned State counsel has filed its return in which he has annexed copy of the judgment passed by co- ordinate Bench of this Court which has been filed by the petitioner himself bearing WPCR No. 582 of 2020 ( Ram Naresh Tandon vs. State of Chhattisgarh and others), learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed for relief that the petitioner may be allowed his son and daughter to operate their bank account as they are in need of money.

This court vide its order dated 14-12-2020 has already negatived the claim and granted liberty to the petitioner to file an application before the Special Judge under Prevention of Corruption Act. On being asked as to whether the petitioner has filed any application or not, learned counsel for the petitioner says that he has filed an application and the same has been rejected, thereafter, he has filed the revision petition, therefore, he is not pressing the present application for grant of interim relief.

Accordingly, I.A.No.1 of 2021 is rejected. The petition is admitted for hearing. List this case after four weeks.
