...Joint Receivers

The Court:- The erstwhile Receiver Late Pinaki Ghosh was discharged in

terms of the Order dated 27th June, 2024. Mr. Debmalya Ghosal, a Member of

Bar Library Club was appointed as a new Receiver. Subsequently, in terms of

Order dated 26th September, 2024, Mr. Satyajit Senapati and Mr. Arindam Paul

were newly appointed as Joint-Receivers. Subsequently, since the Receivers are

in seisin of their office, direction was given in terms of Order dated 28th April,

2025 that the account presently in Canara Bank, Hare Street Branch, should be

operated by the said Joint Receivers, jointly, henceforth and the account

standing in the name of Pinaki Ghosh shall be substituted by the names of the

present Receivers, so appointed. Direction was also given to the Manager of the

concerned Bank to do the needful.

Today, the Learned Counsel appearing for the Joint-Receivers submits

that the Bank has not yet recorded the names of the Joint-Receivers for the

purpose of operation of the account.

Direction is hereby given to the concerned Branch Manager to substitute

the names of the existing account holder namely the erstwhile Receiver with the

names of the present Receivers without fail.

This Order shall be complied within seven days from the date of

communication.

Fix on 16th February, 2026 for further Order.

Registrar, Original Side to the Branch Manager, Canara Bank, Hare Street

Branch.

GA/8/2023 stands dismissed as infructuous since earlier Receiver Mr.

Pinaki Ghosh has already left for heavenly abode.
