The Court:- Affidavit of service filed today be taken on record.

GA/2/2026 has been filed for the imposition of the interim order that

expired with the end of December, 2025.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the learned Advocate for

the petitioner could not mention the matter for extension of interim order due

to illness of the learned Advocate-on-record for the petitioner. It is submitted

that the situation that was obtaining at the time when interim order was

passed still remains the same. Such fact is not disputed by the Respondents.

Heard learned Advocates for the respective parties.

Since it is not in dispute that the interim order which was passed

earlier on August 7, 2024 subsisted till the end of December, 2025 and that

there has been no change in the circumstances in the interregnum, therefore,

the interim order passed earlier on August 7, 2024 is re-imposed. The same

shall continue till the end of April, 2026.

Mr. Sharma, learned Advocate assisting Mr. Banerjee learned Advocate

appearing for the respondents revenue authorities submits that the affidavit-

in-opposition on behalf of the respondents is almost ready. He seeks a little

more time.

In such view of the matter, time to file affidavit-in-opposition is

extended by two weeks from date. Affidavit-in-reply thereto, if any, be filed

within two weeks thereafter.

List this matter for hearing in the combined monthly list of April, 2026.

GA/2/2026 stands disposed of.
