Mr. Majumder, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that in case of a premature transfer reason for administrative exigency should have been disclosed by the authorities in the order of transfer. He relies on a Co-ordinate Bench's judgment reported in 2016(3) CLJ (Cal) 184 (Srikanta Saha vs. Union of India). The said judgement the Co- ordinate Bench has been affirmed by the Hon'ble Division Bench. He refers to the Division Bench judgment reported in 2016(3) CHN (Cal) 481 (Union of India vs. Srikanta Saha).

Mr. Sen, learned counsel appears for the Union of India.

Let the matter appear for further hearing under the same heading Motion on June 20, 2023.

The interim order passed earlier will be extended till July 31, 2023.
