In the matter of : Soumen Das.

Mr. Swapan Banerjee Mr. Suman De .... for the State.

The report submitted by the Officer-in-Charge,

Thakurpur Police Station, Kolkata dated 09.10.2023 stated

that the petitioner could not be found at the recorded address

of the petition. The local people failed to provide the present

whereabouts of the petitioner who had sold his house and left

the locality six years ago. Let the said report be kept on record.

None appears for the petitioner. Mr. Soham Banerjee

(Mobile No. 9851689289), learned advocate is appointed as

amicus curiae on behalf of the petitioner to conduct this instant

revisional application. His appointment may be regularized by

the High Court Legal Service Authority.

Department is directed to provide a copy of the revisional

application along with judgments of the trial courts and a copy

of evidence upon the learned Amicus Curiae and learned

advocate for the State.

Let the matter be fixed on 7th February, 2024.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the Department and

the Secretary, High Court Legal Services Authority for

immediate compliance.
