Perused the letter written by Additional Sessions Judge, 2nd

Court, Krishnagar, Nadia pointing out that appellant, Mantu

Roy whose conviction under Section 302 IPC and sentence

passed thereunder was affirmed by this Court vide judgment

dated 21.03.2023 passed in CRA 164 of 2007 has already been

released on remission of sentence by His Excellency the

Governor of West Bengal.

2. In view of such fact, this Court has nothing to do and no

further steps be taken by the trial court to procure attendance

of appellant Mantu Roy for suffering the remainder sentence.

3. A copy of this order be forwarded to Additional Sessions Judge,

2nd Court, Krishnagar, Nadia through District Judge, Nadia.
