Both the present appeals arise out of the judgment

and decree dated 20th September, 2018 passed by the

learned Additional District Judge, 1st Court, Hooghly

Sadar in Land Acquisition Misc. Case No.07 of 2016.

Mr. Basu, learned senior advocate appearing for the

claimant submits that the appeals are ready for hearing

and paper books have already been filed. In connection

with the appeal being FAT 3 of 2019 an application has

been filed under Order 41 Rule 27 of the Code being CAN

2 of 2022. The same has been served upon the Land

Acquisition Collector, Hooghly. Let the affidavit of service,

as filed, be kept on record.

No one appears on behalf of the Land Acquisition

Collector, Hooghly in FAT 3 of 2019. However, Mr. Sen,

learned advocate appearing for the State in FAT 516 of

2019 is present.

We direct Mr. Sen, learned advocate to appear on

behalf of the Land Acquisition Collector, Hooghly in FAT 3

of 2019. His engagement, along with a junior of his

choice, be regularised.

The application being CAN No.2 of 2022 shall be

heard along with the appeals.

List the appeals for final hearing on 28th July,

2022.

In the meantime, the parties would be at liberty to

exchange their affidavits in the application being CAN 2 of

2022.
