                        The status report filed in the sealed cover by

                  counsel for the State has been opened and perused by

                  this court.

                        The report reveals that the dead body of one 32-

                  year old lady, namely, Guria, one of the inmates of

                  Dulal Smriti Sansad was secretly buried           in   the

                  premises.     Hence,   on   receiving   the   information,

                  investigation was made and it was found that the death

                  was homicidal in a safe custody home and the false

                  death certificate was issued by Uday Chand Kumar, the

                  Secretary of Dulal Smriti Sansad.       Accordingly, the

                  offence was registered and after investigation charge-

                  sheet was filed against as many as 11 persons.         On

                  completion of the trial, learned Additional Sessions

                  Judge, 1st Court, Hooghly in the judgment dated

16.09.2014

had convicted the accused persons, namely,

Uday Chand Kumar and Shyamal Ghosh for offence

under Sections 302/34 of the IPC and sentenced them

to life imprisonment. The report is taken on record.

By the order dated 19.06.2015 this court had also

directed the counsel for the State to place on record

district wise whether Child Welfare Committees are

constituted in terms of the Juvenile Justice Act in each

district, if so, to place on record the details of the

members.

Learned counsel for the State prays for and is

granted four weeks' time to file the report in the form of

affidavit in pursuance to the order dated 19.06.2015.

It will be open to counsel for the petitioner and all

the other concerned parties to obtain a copy of the

report filed today by the State at their own expense

from the concerned department.
