The subject matter of challenge relates to judgment and
order dated 26.9.2012 passed by Learned Additional Sessions
Judge, 1st Court, Bankura wherein the order of conviction and
sentence dated 19.1.2009 passed by the learned Judicial
Magistrate, 6th Court, Bankura in Case No.79C of 2006 under
Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act was affirmed.
Having regard to the subject matter of the case, I direct
that the Lower Court records of both the Trial Court and the
Appellate Court be placed before this Court on the next date fixed
for hearing.
List this matter under the same heading on 27.4.2022.
In view of the fact that none appears on behalf of the
complainant/opposite party, Mr. Sourav Chatterjee, learned
advocate is directed to appear and represent the
complainant/opposite party. The High Court Legal Services
Authority is directed to regularise the appointment of Mr. Sourav
Chatterjee, learned advocate.
