                     Affidavit-of-service dated 28th June, 2019 filed in court today

                     In view of the order proposed hereinbelow, fresh service

              upon the respondents is not called for.

By an order dated 26th February, 2015, the Joint Secretary,

Panchayats & Rural Development Department, Government of

West Bengal had directed the district authorities Murshidabad, to

hold a fresh enquiry under the three-man committee and submit

report on the request of the petitioner for compassionate

employment. In the same order the Block Development Officer,

Bhagwangola-II Development Block, Murshidabad was directed to

take the initiative to start family pension and disburse leave salary

to the legal heirs of the deceased employee.

It is submitted that the petitioner's family has been receiving

pension.

It is not known whether the three-man committee had

submitted any fresh report to the Joint Secretary, Panchayats &

Rural Development Department, Government of West Bengal.

In those circumstances, the Joint Secretary, Panchayats &

Rural Development Department, Government of West Bengal is

directed to ascertain as to whether any report has been received

pursuant to the order dated 26th February, 2015, from any three-

man committee and whether any decision has been taken on the

petitioner's request for compassionate employment.

Let such communication, as directed hereinabove, be

effected to the petitioner within a period of four months from the

date of communication of a copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 28690 of 2015 is

disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this judgment, if applied

for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
