The insurance company is the appellant of

the instant appeal which is directed against the

judgment and award dated February 06, 2020

passed by the Tribunal in MAC case no. 218 of

2018.

This is an application by the appellant

praying for stay of the operation of the judgment

and award under appeal.

The appellant is directed to serve the copy of

the application upon the opposite parties by

speed post with acknowledgement due intimating

the matter will come in the list on January 27,

2021 under the heading "Application".

The appellant to file affidavit-of-service on

the next date of hearing.

The appellant is required to deposit the

awarded sum along with statutory interest with

the Learned Registrar General of this High Court

within three weeks from date.

The learned Registrar General shall ensure

that the same be invested in a Short Term Auto

Renewal Fixed Deposit account of any

nationalized bank until further order.

There shall be an unconditional stay of the

operation of the judgment and award under

appeal for the period of three weeks from date.

If, the deposit as directed above is made

within the aforesaid period the stay granted by

this order shall continue till the disposal of the

present application, in default the said order of

stay shall stand automatically vacated without

any reference to this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order,

if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon

compliance with all requisite formalities.
