By this application the applicant is seeking suspension of sentence and releasing him on bail.

2. This is a revision challenging the order dated 16.04.2026 in Criminal Appeal No.223/2019 passed by learned Adhoc District Judge-2 and Additional Sessions Judge, Amravati. The said appellate judgment confirms the judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 01.09.2019 passed by Judicial Magistrate First Class, Court No.17, Amravati in S.C.C. 4429/2012.

3. By way of said judgment applicant was convicted and compensation of Rs.4 Lakhs was granted.

4. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the applicant that applicant has already deposited amount of Rs.40,000/- i.e. 20% of the cheque amount before the Appellate Court.

5. In that view of the matter, the substantive sentence is suspended subject to condition that applicant shall deposit 40% of the amount of Rs.4 lakhs in this Court within three weeks from today.

6. Applicant be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rs. Fifty Thousand Only) with one solvent surety in the like amount. Bail to be furnished before the trial Court.
