By this application the applicant is seeking suspension of sentence and releasing him on bail.

2. This is a revision challenging the order dated 28.04.2026 in Criminal Appeal No.29/2025 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Washim. The said appellate judgment confirms the judgment and order of conviction and sentence dated 21.01.2023 passed by Chief Judicial Magistrate Washim in S.C.C. 545/2017.

3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that admittedly appellate court has overturned the judgment and has granted compensation to the tune of Rs.2,30,000/-. She therefore, prays for suspension of sentence and grant of bail.

4. Looking at the nature that the offence is bailable one, in that view it would be equitable to suspend the substantive sentence subject to payment deposit of Rs.25,000/- as a part of compensation granted by the 2 14 revn 124.26..odt..odt

appellant court. The compensation be deposited in this Court within three weeks from today.

5. Applicant be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rs. Fifty Thousand Only) with one solvent surety in the like amount. Bail to be furnished before the trial Court.

6. Application is allowed and disposed of.

2. Issue notice to the non-applicant, returnable on 18.06.2026.
