PER COURT : -

1.     Heard the learned Advocate for the applicant and the learned

APP for the State.


2.     The applicant apprehends arrest in connection with Crime No.

149/2026, registered with Shirpur State Excise Department, District

Dhule, for the offences punishable under Sections 65 (A), 65 (E), 81, 83,

90 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.


3.     Issue notice to the respondent, returnable on 03.07.2026.

Learned APP waives service of notice for the respondent - State.


4.     Considering the allegations made in the FIR and the role

attributed to the applicant, the applicant has prima facie made out a

case for grant of interim protection. Therefore, I am inclined to grant

interim protection to the applicant. Hence, the following order:

                                    ORDER

(i) Till the next date, in the event of arrest of the applicant, namely,

Vaibhav Thakur Gavit in connection with Crime No.149/2026, registered

with Shirpur State Excise Department, District Dhule, for the offences

punishable under Sections 65 (A), 65 (E), 81, 83, 90 of the Maharashtra

Prohibition Act, be released on bail on executing P.R. Bond of

Rs.15,000/- [Rupees Fifteen Thousand] with one surety in the like

amount.

(ii) The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station on every

Saturday and Tuesday between 10.00 a.m. and 02.00 p.m. till the next

date.

(iii) The applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence in

any manner whatsoever.

(iv) The applicant shall cooperate with the Investigating Agency.
